These are only GUIDELINES. They are not set in stone. If you are unable or unwilling to trade on this basis I may be flexible if terms are agreed BEFORE trading.

- I trade for fun, to share and exchange music with fellow fans. If, at any time, my trading with you becomes less than fun I reserve the right to terminate the "trade" immediately after fulfulling my obligations.
- I trade CD-Rs ONLY (sorry - no videos, cassette tapes, DATs or minidiscs).
- I use and prefer Kodak, Mitsui or TDK media. Other good quality BRAND NAME media are acceptable DO NOT send Maxell, Memorex, CompUSA, cheap "bulk", unbranded media etc. If unsure please ask *before* sending.
- Live recordings should be written using DAO, without two second gaps between tracks.
- To the best of my knowledge none of the shows listed are MP3-sourced. If you are trading shows which originate from MP3 source I may still be willing to trade for shows I want but MUST be told in advance!

- The package should be sent by first class mail (UK residents) or airmail (international) within a mutually agreed period. I do not do "you send first" trades, in EITHER direction; we agree to post together or not at all!! I take responsibility for and will replace media which is faulty, damaged or lost in transit and expect other traders to guarantee their shipment likewise.
- I prefer to EXCLUDE jewel cases. Discs should be seperated and packed well with cardboard and/or bubblewrap to protect against damage.
- I trade shows with artwork. I make mine readily and easily available to you before the trade and consider it reasonable to ask you to do similar. If scans are not available from your website they should be emailed before discs are mailed. I will download from other sites if you provide the full URL of the images. As a last resort, colour photocopies or large high-quality scans on an extra CD-R (cheap/bulk media may be used for this purpose) may be sent through the mail.

Grading
|
|
I rarely keep or trade anything less than a grade 'B' (4 stars) unless the recording is of particular interest due to its rarity or historical significance. The dominance of grade 'A' (5 stars) recordings in my list does not indicate over-generousity in gradings but simply that I rarely trade, keep or bother to list anything of poorer quality.

However, grading audio quality is highly subjective. If you disagree with any of my gradings please let me know. I may, at my discretion, offer to replace recordings where a grading is agreed to be sufficiently questionable or misleading.

I do NOT sell bootlegs; I consider trading a means of collecting and sharing music with others. I continue to support the artists by buying commercially available material and attending concerts. My trading supplements this and allows me to enjoy material I would otherwise be unable to obtain.
I don't have the time to do 2:1 or B&P trades. On the rare occasion I agree to trade for blank media I will ONLY accept TDK, Kodak or Mitsui CD-Rs. Unless we come to some agreement on how you can reimburse me for insured shipping, I will not accept liability if the parcel is lost or damaged.
